Ghanaian Boxer, Bukom Banku has disclosed that he bleached his skin because he took inspiration from Daddy Lumba and Michael Jackson. The boxer prior to the 2016 elections started bleaching; something he then said was influenced by his wife. He also indicated then that John Mahama was going to win the 2016 elections so he makes him an ambassador to Germany. However, the boxer turned a new leaf some months after her was talked to. Bukom took to reading the Bible and spreading the word of God. But in a recent interview with Accra-based Starr Fm, the boxer said he was inspired by Ghana’s great highlife artiste, Daddy Lumba and Michael Jackson of blessed memory. Bukom indicated that while he was bleaching he was addressed as Banku Fresh; an accolade that got his head swollen all the time.

4,000 Graduate To Be Employed Through YEA

Four thousand unemployed graduates who have been sitting at home for the past two years can now heave a sigh of relief following an arrangement to absorb them through the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) for deployment to the various metropolitan, municipal and district assemblies (MMDAs). Under a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed in Accra yesterday between the YEA and the Local Government Service, the graduates would be employed by the agency for the Local Government Service to deploy them to the MMDAs across the country. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the YEA, Mr Justin Kodua Frimpong, signed on behalf of the YEA while Dr Nana Ato Arthur, the Head of the Local Government Services, initialled on behalf of the organisation. The new arrangement is under the YEA graduate internship module.
